Food Production - don't be gready with soil

Genuine Growth: Ecological Psychology Film Workshops. Twelve outstanding documentaries highlighting our impact on and our connection with the planet. Join us to discuss how we can improve our relationship with the environment.

The Green Steps Ecological Psychology Film Workshop Program goes on with its third session on Food Production. Come and watch Polyfaces, a documentary highlighting the impacts and aftermaths of land use. Get a clear framework to think and talk about the topic and sharpen your knowledge by discussing with others!

"As the problems of the world become more and more complex, the solutions become clear and simple. One Australian family spend their life savings and travel to the USA, spending 4 years documenting a style of farming that will help save humanity!"

'Polyfaces' is a joyful film about connecting to the land.

It follows the Salatin's, a 4 generation farming family who do everything different than everyone else, as they produce food in a way that works with nature, not against it.

Workshop Objectives:

#What is the impact of our food on the environment?

#How does industrial food production impact the environment?

#Is self-reliance farming a serious solution?

#Why does it make sense to start your own garden?
